Priorities?

Today for Take it and Run Thursday, we're supposed to share our best lesson we've learned in running.  The caveat?  Do it in thirteen words or less.  Here's mine:

How you spend your time tells the world just what you value.

The nice thing about running is that I can honestly say that I never felt that running wasted even a moment of my time.

If you think about the list of things about which you can say that, it's pretty short and it includes some of the most important things in life.

This is true, but also painful. My legacy is that I value hard work. I just wish I was putting that hard work into something other than my job ;)

Well, I think there's a lot of value in putting food on your table. I don't begrudge work, even for those times in my life when I haven't enjoyed my job.

It's true that it can be hard to balance sometimes.
